چکیده
The Material Point Method is a relative newcomer to the world of solid mechanics modelling. Its key advantage ability model problems having large deformations while being relatively close standard finite element methods, however its use for realistic engineering applications will happen only if material point can be shown both efficient and accurate (compared methods), when modelling complex geometries with range models. In this paper we present developments method aimed at realizing these goals. contribution provided here development that avoids volumetric locking (arising from elastic or elasto-plastic behavior) using low-order tetrahedral elements background computational mesh, hence allowing unstructured grids used geometries. We also show effectively parallelized improve efficiency.

An Efficient Extension of Network Simplex Algorithm
In this paper, an efficient extension of network simplex algorithm is presented. In static scheduling problem, where there is no change in situation, the challenge is that the large problems can be solved in a short time. In this paper, the Static Scheduling problem of Automated Guided Vehicles in container terminal is solved by Network Simplex Algorithm (NSA) and NSA+, which extended the stand...
متن کاملAn Evaluation of the Material Point Method
The theory and algorithm for the Material Point Method (MPM) are documented, with a detailed discussion on the treatments of boundary conditions and shock wave problems. A step-by-step solution scheme is written based on direct inspection of the two-dimensional MPM code currently used at the University of Missouri-Columbia (which is, in turn, a legacy of the University of New Mexico code). To t...
متن کاملAnalysis of a Material Point Method for Snow
A physically-plausible simulation of snow is a challenging task. The method we analyze in this thesis is a Material Point Method (MPM), that has been adjusted to accommodate both the fluid-like and the granular properties of snow. We analyze the simulation in four aspects. One, the noise generated from problems in numerical stability. Two, we analyze the domain in which simulation parameters pe...
متن کاملAn efficient method for evaluating BEM singular integrals on curved elements with application in acoustic analysis
The polar coordinate transformation (PCT) method has been extensively used to treat various singular integrals in the boundary element method (BEM). However, the resultant integrands of the PCT tend to become nearly singular when (1) the aspect ratio of the element is large or (2) the field point is closed to the element boundary; thus a large number of quadrature points are needed to achieve a...
